KEY GUARANTEES on LISBON TREATY

Following the Lisbon Referendum last year, certain guarantees were sought and secured:

• Ireland will keep its Commissioner if we
  vote Yes
• Ireland’s traditional policy of military neutrality will not be affected
• Ireland retains power over issues such
  as abortion and family policy
• Ireland retains control over its own
  tax rates
• Workers’ rights and public services are protected
